Meet Mahan Ostadian, DO
Double-certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist, Mahan Ostadian, currently practices at Republic Spine & Pain. Dr. Ostadian is an active member of the American Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, and the Texas Medical Association, among other bodies.
Dr. Ostadian obtained his medical degree in Biology at the University of Texas in Austin. He then completed his medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center- Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. While there, he made it to the dean’s list for academic excellence.
Afterward, Dr. Ostadian pursued his anesthesiology residency at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. After finalizing his residency, the doctor remained on staff at Scott and White, serving as an anesthesiology professor while helping to treat patients’ post-operative pain. Later, Dr. Ostadian earned a fellowship in interventional pain management at the renowned UT Southwestern School of Medicine and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.

Dr. Ostadian worked on research projects, presenting his research at national pain management conferences while at UT Southwestern School of Medicine and Parkland Memorial Hospital. He progresses his involvement in resident education at Scott and White Memorial Hospital, upholding his goal of offering exceptional, compassionate care to his diverse clientele.
Dr. Ostadian is a bigtime college football fan and desires that in the future, his son and daughter share the same passion he does for Longhorn football. In his free time, the doctor enjoys traveling with his wife and exploring exclusive restaurants around Austin.
