Dr. Sasaki’s Biography
Dr. Sasaki graduated from Pomona College and Yale University School of Medicine with a bachelor’s degree and a medical degree. He finished his general surgery studies and fellowships in breast cancer study and surgical oncology at the University of Oregon Medical Center and served in the military in Vietnam as an anesthesiologist.
Upon return to Yale, Dr. Sasaki took a full-time faculty post at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Hospital, in Dallas, to finish his hand fellowship and plastic surgical education. He maintained his academic life at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles County Hospital, as Interim Chief of Plastic Surgery, Plastic Surgery Research Director, as well as Associate Chief of Plastic Surgery. After that, he opened a mixed private and academic clinic in Pasadena, where he is now a Medical Professor in the Plastic Surgery Department at the Loma Linda University Medical School.
Dr. Sasaki is an active member of the Aesthetic Stem Cell Society, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Founding Member of the Cell Society, the Los Angeles County Medical Association, International Society of Hair Stimulation, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, as well as the California Society of Plastic Surgeons.
